Stewart Team Up To Support The On Course Foundation
Here at Stewart Golf we are thrilled to announce a brand-new charity partnership for 2024 with the brilliant On Course Foundation.
The On Course Foundation is a remarkable charity organisation dedicated to helping veterans through golf. Through the work that they do, the On Course Foundation help provide golfing tuition, work experience placements, and employment opportunities in the golf industry for veterans. These initiatives play a crucial role in enhancing the physical and mental well-being of veterans, helping them regain confidence and independence.
Founded in 2010 by John Simpson, former business manager to 17 major tournament winners, the On Course Foundation operates out of offices in Orlando and London. The organisation has positively impacted over 2,500 members, using golf as a medium to help veterans transition back into civilian life.

Importance Of Community Support
John Dodds, Executive Director of the On Course Foundation USA, highlights the importance of community support in their mission. “Without the support of the golfing community and companies like Stewart Golf, the important work of the On Course Foundation wouldn’t exist. The more golf teaching moments we provide, the more physically, mentally, and professionally capable and happy Service members become,” says Dodds.
At Stewart Golf, our commitment to giving back is a core value. As our CEO Mark Stewart proudly states, "We are committed to enhancing the golfing experience for all players, and our partnership with the On Course Foundation reflects our dedication to supporting those who have served their country. We are proud to contribute to the recovery and well-being of veterans through this collaboration."
Arnold Palmer
The late great Arnold Palmer, a patron of the On Course Foundation since its inception, said of the fantastic work they carry out, "When I met a small number of the injured servicemen in Orlando through On Course, I was profoundly moved and hugely impressed by their courage and determination in facing what seems to me enormous adversity.Golf has been such a huge part of my life and to see that our beloved game can be used as an integral tool in the rehabilitation of soldiers from around the world fills me with great pride.
It is a genuine privilege to be able to support and highlight the growing number of courageous individuals who are too often forgotten.”
